What I want is an iPad only subscription, an app integrated with Newsstand rather than on its own taking screen space, and exclusive multimedia content. Look at Wired, look at The Guardian... Come on people, its a new business model for the customers who are going to save your business!

Ive been download EW for my iPad every week, but since last week, it doesnt work. It always send me the message: "An unknown error has ocurred". Whats happen?

Since last month Im not able to download the issue. All I get is a message: "Attention An unknown error occurred". I tried to fix it with the customers service, but all we have tried didnt work.

Definitelly, this new retina version is the hell. All the old subscribes edition must be the downloaded again. Well, I did it. But the most terrible thing is the big bug that doesnt can leave anymore the old editions that I subscribed in my iPad. If I retrieve more than 4 old editions, this stupid app simply erase the others. Booooo. Fix it, sirs!!!!

It,s great to read a magazine with the resources of this app. The pictures are clear and only the essencial text is shown, until you tap them to show the additional information. Movies traillers are one plus to complement the experience! I loved it!

The upgrade on december 17th crashed! It does not open! My ipad is up to date! Outrageous!

..,the EW on my iPad. Easy to use, looks very good! BUT why now iPad subscription? Just existing Print Subscribers? Dont wanna buy the All Access subscription. Just wanna subscribe to the tablet edition :(

As a journalist, Entertainment Weekly has been my favorite print magazine for decades. Im glad to see that the iPad edition is just as great - it offers the same depth of information and also shows the fun my colleagues have with their topics. My favorite iPad app!

the content is good as always, no surprises here. but id like to emphasize that this is one of the few ipad magazines that comes at a reasonable price!

I enjoy reading EW on my ipad, but some features are disappointing: -for some reason there is no sound when I try to watch in-app trailers even though the sound is turned on to maximum. -when I leave the app and then go back to continue reading, I always have to search for the page I was reading manually. -there is no bookmark function. -there is no way to enlarge letters. But all in all it is a fun app.

A nice app which does what it says on the tin - unless it decides to throw you out even though youre a subscriber and refuses to let you back in. Customer service is useless, and so the app wants you to pay for a subscription youve already purchased. This happened the third time this week in as many years. Fix it.

I have been waiting forever that EW can be bought in germany again as there was no way to get the print version here since foreever, it is great that there is an app now. Great price too. Great functionality THANKS

How is it after I wrote a review saying the app sucked that miraculously I was able to get unstuck from a 5 week download for 1 issue and download the current issue in a timely manner? Hmmm...

I love reading EW on my iPad, with the ability to watch trailers, buy music and books right from the mag. Plus the extras specifically for iPad readers are appreciated. The only thing the app version is missing is social integration, I want to be able to share articles or comment via Facebook and Twitter like I can from MacLeans magazine, the only other magazine I subscribe to.

My favourite magazine. Love that its on the iPad, but it lacks support for retina display, which detracts from the magazine. The odd crash/occasional freeze also occurs...For these issues, I cant give 5 stars. Resolve the lack of retina display support and fix the glitches ad Id give this 5 stars.

Downloaded a free issue to see if I liked the magazine and approx 65% of it was pixelated and unreadable. Emailed support and never heard back from anyone. Cancelled the renewal system immediately since no one got back to me to fix it or confirm every issue would not be pixelated.

Issues look pixelated and are barely readable on the new iPads. Retina support is desperately needed.
