I renewed my subscription to the magazine but the digital magazines wont down load. It wants to charge me for each issue.
Content is always excellent and the app itself is user friendly

Please, please, please what is so hard with enabling landscape view on iPad? I switched to the iPad Pro in October and Ive been reading your magazine in a giant magnified blurry form since than! It seems to me that allowing landscape mode and having to pages next to each other would be a no brainer, with no extra work solution on the Pro! Even you two page images would make more sense and it would be similar size to reading on the iPad Mini! So why not give us the option, why?!??
Why is it that issues are delayed by a day or more in the iPhone edition versus the iPad edition? The new issue was available Thursday night on the iPad, but I wont be able to download it to my iPhone until Friday night. Thats very frustrating. Also, what happened to the Desktop version of EW for the PC? The link now redirects to a Subscribe to EW page. Please fix the iPhone delay!
For some reason there is no landscape mode. So be prepared to try to read itty-bitty pages before realizing youre paying money for this frustrating experience.
This is a terrible app. Every time I try to access it it just spins and tells me I have to subscribe. I have a current subscription. For a company as big as EW, you would think your tech people would be able to correct these problems.
The app acknowledges I am a subscriber and I should be able to download digital editions, yet when clicking new issues, the app wants me to buy or subscribe. Deleting and re-downloading the app doesnt help. Calling customer service, they can only tell me it should work.
I love EW, have been subscribing to the print edition for over 10 years. I live mostly overseas and move around a lot, and it keeps me grounded in American popular culture. However the EW team needs to rethink its digital content. I love the convenience of not having to carry hard copies while traveling, but hate the 4-point type on photo captions and 6- or 8- point type on article text. Why not make the content more movable and readable, rather than hopelessly stuck in the magazine format? Apps are supposed to facilitate a digital experience, not be a receptacle for a fax. The EW website also needs a retooling -- it is cluttered, distracting, and doesnt work well on different platforms. Hire someone who has a digital vision and listen to them, please.

I have a magazine and digital subscription. The app recognizes that but is still asking me to buy individual issues. What gives?!
Zero stars. App kicks you off your account and wont let you access what you paid for. Customer service is abysmal. App keeps asking me to write a review even though I already wrote on. If app was a review collector, itd be good. But since I want to read my magazine and cant, its terrible. How can the app not deliver at all on its promise yet keep hounding me to review it??!?
I can sign in, but restoring purchases just goes on and on and on and... Actually was eventually able to download (only) the most recent issue and read a bit. The next day when I re-opened the issue my tablet told me there was an update to the issue so I hit "upgrade" then it told me it couldnt find my issue, so... no upgrade. Then *I* couldnt open the previously downloaded issue (I searched and couldnt find it either). Oh, and I forgot to mention I had to do all this because I didnt the receive my "paper" issue in the mail? Phew!!!
I have the digital subscription and, since the last update, the app will not recognize it.
I sign with my valid and current subscription account number and the app still wants me to pay for digital copies. My subscription includes this unlimited access and the app is frustrating me! HELP!
Im unable to download the latest is which is highly disappointing.
My print subscription would just pile up on the kitchen counter, but with the digital version, I just download issues when I have time to read them. Love it!
Ugh. Every Friday, the current issue is updated. Instead of the cloud icon letting me download it (Im a print subscriber who seems to be able to log in just fine and access previous issues), I only have the option to PAY FOR THE ISSUE.
On a regular basis the app refuses to let me download the latest issue even though it shows my digital account as current. Takes forever to get it to a point where it works again and the troubleshooting is no help. I dont do print subscriptions anymore and if this keeps up Ill have to stop subscribing. When it works it is great but who knows when it will stop. Unbelievably frustrating.
